2. ALPHA Courses
The Alpha Course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith. It is relaxed, low-key, friendly and fun. There is a meal together, which provides the chance to get to know each other. This is followed by a series of talks, lasting 10 weeks, on topics such as 'Who is Jesus?' and 'Why do I pray?', and finishes off with a discussion. Martyn and Rosemary J can provide more information about the content and form of these meetings. The most recent course started in January 2008. If you are interested in joining an Alpha Course, or know of someone who might be, then please contact, or leave a message for, Elaine P or Martyn & Rosemary J via the Church Office (Kn. 652251).

8. Knutsford Methodist Church Ramblers - Wednesday 21st May, 10.15am
For our March walk, fifteen of us managed just over 4 miles around the beautiful village of Whitegate, just south of Northwich. What a wonderful day we had! Despite a slight chill in the air, the sun shone, birds sang and, after a bit of exertion, we were all beautifully warm. The walk definitely did us all good even if the food afterwards probably piled on the calories. It really was great to enjoy each other's company, get lots of fresh air and see more of the beautiful Cheshire countryside.
Our next walk, on 21st May. We meet at 10.15am and usually finish around 12.30pm. Staying for food afterwards is optional.
Please do consider joining us - the more the merrier! All newcomers, and 'oldcomers', will be made very welcome. It's a great opportunity to get fit (well, fittish) and get to know each other better - and to enjoy a hearty meal (optional) afterwards. Please let Gill know (via the Church Office, Knutsford 652251) if you would like to join us and require further details.

We are praying this will be a special day for all who attend.
