Hello - just a few words by way of introduction so that you can maybe get an idea of who I am before I meet you face to face! My name is Richard Byass, as you know, and I am married to Becca who is, at the time of writing (September 2004), doing a PGCE course in Didsbury, training to be a teacher.

I come from a long established Methodist family and became a Christian when I was in my teens. At the age of 18 I began to feel a strong call on my life and so went to Cliff college to study and train (and coincidentally meet Becca!), and then, after a time working in North London, I trained for the ministry at Hartley Victoria college in Manchester.

I eventually found out that I would be coming to this place, this Circuit, to work and share in the ministry here and to continue to learn from you all as I now begin my ministry full time in The 'Welcome', Mobberley and Snelson. These are exciting times and I look forward to us being challenged by God as we explore together church and our faith journeys in the coming years.
