Junior Church
The Junior Church meets every
Sunday morning at the same time as the 10.45am morning
Service. Our worship begins in the Church with the rest of
the Church Family but after a short while (usually after the
collection) we leave for our own groups.
- Our Aim
- To encourage children and young people to find a
personal faith in the Lord Jesus.
- Our Methods
- We teach the basics of the Christian Faith, educate
children in the teachings of the Bible, and introduce
them to the Living Lord. We use attractive age-related
teaching materials, lively praise and worship, drama, dance
and other activities to ensure that all children have the
chance to appreciate the challenges and joys of the Christian
life.
- Our Organisation
- There are six classes, which relate broadly to school
years:-
CRECHE: 0-3 year-olds led by Heather.
BEGINNERS: 3-5 year-olds led by Sarah and Carol.
PRIMARY: 5-7 year-olds led by Rachel and David.
JUNIORS: 7-11 year-olds led by Dawn and helpers.
SENIORS: 11-14 year-olds led by Alison and Martin.
YOUNG PEOPLE: 14-16 year-olds led by Andrew and helpers' rota.
Promotion between the classes is once a year, in September.
