The Glebelands Road House Group was begun over 20 years ago in
the time of Derek and Ann Davidson. It meets at the home of
Phil and Elsie and is led by Rene. Current membership is 14.
mostly of retirement age.
The meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month,
starting at 8.00 p.m., with a Summer break in July/August.
The dates are given each month in the church's magazine,
"Open Doors". |
The evening starts with a time of prayer followed by a period
of study and discussion (usually led by Rene with occasional
help from other members of the group) on a variety of topics.
Some topics covered in the last months have included:-
- The book of Nehemiah.
- Sharing our faith.
- Encounters - bible studies on people meeting God.

Age Awareness - Understanding the spiritual needs of older
people.
As a group we support Church Activities such as days of prayer,
and we are currently manning the opening of the Church on one
Wednesday each month.

Each Christmas we meet socially for a Christmas Party.
New members are always welcome and further details can be
obtained by telephoning either Rene or Phil and Elsie (via the
