Wall-mounted clock with large swinging pendulum.
"Tick Tock"

It was a blustery back-end morning; heavy rain clouds chased each other across the sky. The wind howled in the trees and bushes, so I was glad to stay indoors along with the old clock, which counted out the minutes accurately. I sat thinking of many things and problems assumed larger proportions than necessary.

And then, something happened... the clock was silent! Was the old clock trying to teach me something?

It is good to keep things silently at the back of our minds not allowing them free rein to become all enveloping.
